O presente trabalho tem como principal objetivo abordar as relações entre os vários fragmentos urbanos onde as infraestruturas de mobilidade (rodoviárias e ferroviárias) representam um grande impacto nas lógicas de continuidade espacial e nos traçados urbanos. Tomando como ponto de partida a análise das características e das necessidades do território de Massamá e de São Marcos surge, como hipótese de projeto, o desenho de um conjunto de passagens que ligam este território, aproximando as duas áreas e fomentando a fácil acessibilidade pedonal à estação ferroviária de Massamá-Barcarena, integrando neste eixo a oferta de novos espaços programáticos atrativos na área urbana de São Marcos e simultaneamente permitir o usufruto da paisagem vegetal numa forte relação atmosférica com o Vale da Ribeira das Jardas. A estratégia assenta na valorização do lugar e na criação de ligações entre os diferentes espaços existentes e propostos. Este projeto é composto por um conjunto de várias intervenções com escalas e programas diferentes, articuladas entre si e incorporadas num sistema contínuo pedonal que permite ligar diferentes espaços e áreas urbanas. Deste modo, pretende-se dar resposta às necessidades e aos problemas dos utilizadores e moradores da área de intervenção, contribuindo com uma nova estrutura urbana que oferece uma melhor coesão territorial e social do lugar.
ABSTRACT : The present work has a main objective to approach the relationships between the several urban fragments where the mobility infrastructures (road and rail) represent a great impact on the space continuity logics and on the urban designs. Bearing as starting point the analysis of characteristics and needs of the territory of Massamá and São Marcos, comes up, as a project option, the design of a set of passages that connect the area, getting them closer, and enhancing the pedestrian access to the railroad of Massamá-Barcarena, integrating the offer of new attractive spaces in this route in the urban area of São Marcos and at the same time, allow the use of the green landscape with a strong environment connection with Vale da Ribeira das Jardas. This strategy lies on the valuation of the place and on the connection between the different existing and proposed spaces. This project is composed of several interventions with different scales and programs, articulated and incorporated in a continuous pedestrian system, that allows the connection of different urban spaces and areas. In this way, we wish to solve the needs and problems of the dwellers and users of the intervention area, contributing with a new urban structure that offers a better territory and social cohesion.
