- Infiltração policial virtual como método de investigação na internet no combate aos crimes de pornografia infantil na Dark WebPublication . Pellucci, Frederico; Pereira, Rui SoaresO presente trabalho tem por escopo abordar a infiltração de agentes policiais na internet no combate ao crime de pornografia infantil, ultrapassando os conceitos de Dark Web e seus buscadores anônimos, para mostrar o que hoje é a nova face dos ilícitos envolvendo a exposição digital do abuso de crianças e adolescentes na Rede . Para isso, abordamos a moderna realidade criminológica para se chegar ao ponto em que a pornografia infantil migra dos serviços abertos para as redes P2P e finalmente para os hiddens services nos mais ocultos setores da Depp Web, onde a atuação infiltrada se apresenta como a principal ferramenta na colheita da prova e materialidade do delito. A utilização de agentes encobertos e infiltrados, como método oculto de obtenção de prova, deve ser precedida de rigorosa observância dos princípios constitucionais que visam proteger a intimidade e a privacidade do investigado, além da subsunção aos seus pressupostos legais de validação. Observar se á, ainda, o âmbito de atuação dos agentes policiais, sejam nos canais abertos e fechados de comunicação como limites da atuação policial e a necessidade de proceder à separação do agente encoberto virtual do agente infiltrado virtual , bem como o engano e o consentimento viciado do investigado, fruto de confiança artificialmente induzida, como gerador da necessária autorização judicial para se garantir a validade da prova a ser levada ao juízo criminal.
- Conforto no espaço privado contemporâneo: projeto de reabilitação de uma habitação no meio rural da Beira AltaPublication . Figueiredo, Beatriz Gomes; Pereira, Cristóvão de Faria Martins Valente; Paiva, BartolomeuThe present project work focuses on the theme of comfort in the contemporary domestic space in a rural environment, to the panorama of the interior of rural homes in the Beira Alta region of the 20th century. Thus, it is important to recognize the contribution of the role of Interior Design in the housing rehabilitation project. In this context, we will address the issues around the dynamics of rural housing in the Beira Alta region throughout time, taking into account aspects such as the Portuguese Popular Architecture and the way of living, contrasting them with the present day. Understanding these will allow us to explore the human experience in the private space in several domains: the psychological and the symbolic. Housing rehabilitation is, in this aspect, recognized as a project that prioritizes and contributes to the valorization of local identity and memory, as a current challenge that allies the Interior Design to the architectural project, given the demands of current times, which have been changing the ways of living and, consequently, the interior of the houses. Gestosa, a village in the Dão region, is the setting where the study and project are developed. The evolution of the dynamics of housing in the area will be explored, given the fact that today there is an increasing demand for the rehabilitation of the pre-existing houses in order to return to the quiet and rural environment of the village. Facing the contemporary scenario marked by fugacity and people's demands, we will try to demonstrate the relevance of the integration of the Interior Design project in the execution of a rehabilitation project. Therefore, it will be emphasized the designer's contribution in solving problems associated with old housing, as well as how it contributes to the promotion of human comfort in current times.
- João Ayres (1921-2001) : estudo e estratégias de intervenção de conservação e restauroPublication . Santos, Rafaela Gonçalves dos; Bailão, Ana Maria dos Santos; Asensio, Ruth ChércolesThe present dissertation has as its theme the technical study and the respective conservation and restoration intervention of one of the works of the Portuguese painter João Ayres (1921-2001). Ayres had a vast artistic production, however his work as a contemporary painter has been barely studied. From the existing artworks, one painting on wood was selected, produced in Mozambique in 1948. The criterion for selecting was its state of conservation. In this case, the work was selected due to its advanced state of degradation. The constituent materials, construction techniques and intervention strategies were systematically analyzed. The investigation was phased. However, the different phases were related to each other, since the knowledge concerning the original constituent materials allowed, on the one hand, to understand the degradation processes of the works and, on the other hand, to acquire information for decision-making about the intervention methodologies. The knowledge acquired through the analysis of the artist's vast collection allowed an even more detailed understanding of the construction techniques used in the production of his artworks. The study regarding research strategies aimed to broaden our knowledge about each of the intervention stages, whether in the supports or in the pictorial layer, and therefore, they were defined after a bibliographic review of each of the treatments and respective materials. In this field, it is noteworthy the lack of specific bibliography for support treatments in plywood, and with this project it was intended to make known the different phases that encompass an intervention of this nature. The problem of support consolidation and restructuring stands out amongst the treatments performed throughout the intervention. For the consolidation of the support, which was in an advanced state of rot and infestation, it was intended to formulate a methodology capable of reestablishing the cohesion of the woody particles and conferring mechanical resistance to the support; in the restructuring, it was intended to apply an alveolar-shaped balsa parquet system, with the aim of reinforcing the entire structure, in order to reestablish the stability of the support and prepare the painting for layout and exposure
- A reabilitação para a valorização da identidade local : projeto de interiores de uma habitação ruralPublication . Nunes, Inês Isabel de Brito; Pereira, Cristóvão de Faria Martins ValenteThis project work explores the issue of preserving local identity and memory through the rehabilitation of existing buildings, presenting this as a tool that allows not only to preserve them, but also to value them. Considering the rehabilitation as a means of intervention indicated for the project, the concepts related to this theme will be studied, deepening the principles and the procedure of this way of intervening in the building. It will also reflect on contemporary housing needs and on the challenges of rehabilitated housing to respond to them. Exploring what are the notions of heritage and local identity, some of the elements that reflect an identity and, thus, can be preserved, will be indicated. A more specific study of Beira Alta and its rural context will be presented, thus framing the proposal for the interior rehabilitation project of a rural dwelling. The aspects that identify the region will be analyzed, namely the local architecture and the impact that the daily life and customs of the population assume in the construction of rural housing and the organization of its interior space. The general objective will be to understand, through an interior rehabilitation project, how the rehabilitation of rural housing can contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the identity of the place, specifically in the context of Interior design, allowing that same identity to manifest itself. in the interior space of the dwelling.
- A confiança pública na participação pública dos jovens: Um estudo aplicado aos estudantes da Universidade de LisboaPublication . Martins, Liliana Filipa Alves; Paula Maria Ferreira Do Espírito Santo; José Luís Rocha Pereira do NascimentoO presente estudo tem como objetivo geral examinar de que forma a confiança pública influencia a participação pública dos jovens estudantes, dos 18 aos 29 anos, da Universidade de Lisboa. A nível metodológico foi aplicado um inquérito por questionário tendo respondido 327 estudantes da Universidade de Lisboa. No plano empírico utilizou-se os modelos de Bandelli e Konijn (2015) e Beshi e Kaur (2019), com vista a testar a influencia da governança na participação pública, a influencia da confiança pública na participação pública e o efeito mediador e/ou moderador da confiança pública na participação pública dos jovens estudantes da Universidade de Lisboa. Os resultados apontam para a não influência da governança e da confiança pública na participação pública, e para o não efeito de mediação e/ou moderação da confiança pública na participação pública. Os resultados sugerem para a influência da governança na confiança pública. Neste estudo verificam-se diferenças de género na confiança pública e na participação pública. Este estudo contribui para o incentivo do estudo das perceções de governança, da confiança pública e da participação pública dos jovens em Portugal, tendo como implicação prática a reflexão dos decisores e formuladores de políticas públicas para o envolvimento dos jovens nas políticas públicas.
- Conservação e restauro na pintura " Triptych in Blue" de Eugen Hersch (1887-1967)Publication . Teodoro, Beatriz Maria Avelar; Bailão, Ana Maria dos Santos; Henriques, Frederico José RodriguesThe present dissertation, entitled Conservation and Restoration in the Triptych in Blue Painting, by Eugen Hersch (1887-1967), arises in the context of the Masters in Conservation Sciences, Restoration and Contemporary Art Production. The dissertation has as general objectives the technical and material study of the work and the realization of a conservation and restoration intervention. The opportunity to intervene arose in the summer of 2021, in situ, due to the risk of detachment of the pictorial layer of the central painting of the triptych, the colour changes caused by previous treatments, and the yellowing of the protective layer of the metallic foil. The painting entitled Triptych in Blue consists of three paintings and three predellas, all with representations of human figures. It presents a mixed technique on canvas and plywood, with maximum dimensions of 4 m high, 6 m long and 0,06 m thick. It is privately owned, acquired in 2009, and underwent another intervention between 2012 and 2013. The study focuses on the particularities of the work. Among the specific objectives were: to create a management system for acquired information based on geographic information technologies; understand the relationship between the techniques of mural painting and on canvas applied by Hersch in this triptych; look for solutions to fill gaps, namely in the chromatic reintegration process, and ways to evaluate and validate the result. To fulfil the objectives, different research tools were implemented: bibliographic research; interviews with professionals in conservation and restoration; technical and material study, through examination and analysis techniques; making models that allowed understanding the artist's technique and testing different filling materials for the intervention; and, finally, documentation techniques with photogrammetry were used to acquire digital surface models, produce orthophotographs and use a geographic information system for mapping and spatial characterization of the pictorial surface
- O problema dos micro e nanoplásticos na saúde infantilPublication . Martins, Melissa Monteiro; Ribeiro, Maria Henriques Lourenço; Almeida, Cristina Maria Martins deO plástico trouxe inúmeras vantagens para a humanidade, devido as suas características, e está presente em todas as áreas. Todavia, há certezas de que o plástico constitui uma grande ameaça para o meio-ambiente, para os animais e para o ser humano. Os principais riscos para a saúde humana associado aos plásticos são a exposição a micro e a nanoplásticos e a exposição aos produtos químicos associados aos plásticos. Os plásticos são produtos quimicamente complexos e que se expandem para outros produtos, nomeadamente, micro e nanoplásticos durante a sua produção, uso e a sua degradação. As crianças no decurso do seu desenvolvimento são muito vulneráveis e os seus órgãos são mais suscetíveis à exposição ambiental do que os dos adultos. Consequentemente, a preocupação com as consequências da exposição a micro e nanoplásticos na saúde das crianças é maior. Neste contexto, este trabalho é uma revisão da literatura sobre o problema dos micro e nanoplásticos na saúde infantil, selecionando os dados relevantes sobre a exposição das crianças a estes compostos e respetivos constituintes, as fontes de exposição, na identificação dos potenciais perigos, efeitos na saúde, e medidas de prevenção e mitigação. As pesquisas permitiram observar que, de modo geral, ainda existe uma certa lacuna sobre exposição infantil a micro e nanoplásticos e seus compostos, nomeadamente no que diz respeito à frequência da exposição, à quantidade dos tais compostos que podem traduzir em efeitos adversos para a saúde desta população e o tempo que podem permanecer no organismo. A ingestão e inalação são vias de exposição muito relevantes, para a população humana, incluindo a população infantil, mas não deve ser ignorada as outras vias de exposição como a transferência através da placenta, o contacto dérmico e a migração de compostos plásticos através de embalagens. A prevenção da população infantil pode começar da prevenção durante a gestação. A dificuldade relacionada aos métodos analíticos para o estudo dos micro e nanoplásticos é um dos motivos das limitações em torno do assunto, o que se explica pelas características dessas partículas, como por exemplo o tamanho e a composição.
- Developing non-formal learning activities focused on increasing evolutionary knowledge and scientific literacyPublication . de Lima, Joelyn; Adnađević, Tanja; Barstad, Johan; Georgiou, Martha; Holm, Sile; Kenig, Bojan; Martinelli, Lucia; Nogueira, Teresa; Savković, Uroš; Tsopoglou-Gkina, Despina; Milosevic, TamaraNon-formal learning activities have an important role in continuous education of the general audience, and thus provide an essential element in increasing evolutionary knowledge and scientific literacy for European citizens, beyond the formal schooling. This guide brings together explanations of how non-formal learning can be designed, with special emphasis on evaluating the activities. The guide describes common activity types and examples encountered in our scoping conducted via surveys, personal contacts, and literature and internet search. It also provides reflection points for practitioners (activity designers, educators, science communicators) to embed evaluation as a form of engaging activity participants, as well as a tool to assess the impact and improve practice.
- A Coleção Ferraz de Macedo : estudo e valorização da primeira coleção de antropologia física de PortugalPublication . Lopes, Bianca Sofia Machado; Alves, Alice NogueiraThis project work focuses on the study and valorization of the Ferraz de Macedo Physical Anthropology Collection, included in the National Museum of Natural History and Science. This collection brings together about 53 complete and incomplete skulls, having undergone several changes since it was collected until the present day. Ferraz de Macedo lived between 1845 and 1907 (62 years) and dedicated his life to cultivating himself, studying various subjects, among which he ended up developing a special taste for Physical Anthropology. Influenced by the main anthropologists of the time, he dedicated his studies to conducting cranial measurements, to refute the theory that cranial size determined whether the individual had criminal inclinations. After gathering a large number of measurements, he was able to prove that the theory was false. Thus, the first physical anthropology collection in Portugal was born. The oldest descriptions say that this collection came to have around 1000 skulls and 300 skeletons. However, after more than 100 years and a great fire, what remains is a much smaller number, counting today with 53 skulls and no skeleton. With the intention of studying and valuing the collection, an internship was carried out in which the inventory of the collection was done, as well as an analysis of the state of conservation of the mortal remains, a detailed description, and a photographic survey of the present individuals. As a result, the history of the Ferraz de Macedo collection is presented, and the context lived by the identified individuals is revealed, thanks to the original book by its author, Taboas Antropometricas (Anthropometric Tables), in which is possible to find essential information. With this work, it was possible to study and value this collection with due dignity, as it is the first Physical Anthropology collection in Portugal, which still has treasures of considerable importance to be discovered
- Relatório de estágio na Eurologos-Lisboa : questões de tradução no discurso jurídico, técnico e especializadoPublication . Morgado, Mariana Luísa Poeira; Móia, TelmoO presente relatório tem como objetivo descrever e analisar o estágio curricular efetuado na Eurologos-Lisboa / Certas Palavras, Lda., no âmbito do Mestrado em Tradução da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. A nível temático, o relatório centra-se na reflexão de questões de tradução jurídica, tradução técnica e tradução especializada. O primeiro capítulo consiste na apresentação da entidade de acolhimento, debruçando-se também sobre a caracterização das várias etapas do fluxo de trabalho de uma empresa de tradução e na descrição das tarefas realizadas em estágio. Adicionalmente, é efetuada uma categorização dos subdomínios dos documentos traduzidos e revistos em estágio. O segundo capítulo parte de um enquadramento teórico, com enfoque na posição da tradução técnica nos estudos de tradução e no perfil de um tradutor técnico. Ademais, aborda várias questões gerais relacionadas com a tradução jurídica e tradução na área de engenharia civil e mecânica, das finanças, da saúde e da informática, seguidas da análise de casos práticos trabalhados em estágio. A nível da tradução jurídica, são discutidos vários temas como a caracterização dos subdomínios do Direito Civil e do Direito Consuetudinário, a classificação dos diferentes tipos de texto jurídico, observações sobre questões de natureza terminológica e gramatical e considerações sobre a ausência da figura do tradutor ajuramentado em Portugal. O terceiro capítulo apresenta uma breve reflexão acerca do papel das ferramentas de tradução assistida por computador, recorrendo a exemplos práticos trabalhados durante o estágio.
