Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de projeto propõe um estudo e reflexão sobre a
relação entre a arquitetura e a dança, enquanto elementos
fundamentais para a promoção de uma maior interação entre os
habitantes e uma melhor integração comunitária.
Articulamos assim, a ideia de comunidade com abordagens
arquitetónicas convergentes com a temática, tomando a dança, os
espaços e os equipamentos enquanto fatores que permitem a
aproximação entre indivíduos, visando a regeneração urbana e
comunitária.
Este ensaio projetual, constituído pelo Centro de Artes Performativas,
Mercado, Residência para Artistas e Jardim, incorpora uma dimensão
urbano-arquitetónica ao invés de focar apenas um objeto, para que
seja possível promover a interação e consequente metamorfose
comunitária no bairro de Moscavide.
Assim, a proposta projetual apresentada tem como objectivo não só
atrair jovens artistas oferecendo-lhes melhores condições de trabalho,
que são muito escassas em Portugal, como e principalmente,
promover a interação entre diferentes gerações, culturas e modus
vivendi, ao criar espaços propícios à quebra de barreiras entre o
bairro e os espaços contíguos, assim como ao encontro entre os seus
habitantes e visitantes do bairro.
ABSTRACT: This project report proposes a study on the relationship between architecture and dance, as fundamental elements for the promotion of a greater interaction between the inhabitants towards a better integration of the community. We thus articulate the idea of community with architectural approaches which converge with the theme, taking dance, spaces and equipment as factors that allows the individuals to come together, thus aiming at urban and community regeneration. This project featured in the essay, is constituted by the Performing Arts Centre, Market, Artist Residence and Garden, is embedded with an urban-architectural dimension instead of focusing solely upon one object, so that it is possible to promote community interaction and consequent metamorphosis in the Moscavide neighborhood. Thus, the presented project proposal aims to not only attract young artists by offering them better working conditions, which are very scarce in Portugal, but also and above all, to promote the interaction between different generations, cultures and modus vivendi, by creating spaces conducive to the breaking down of barriers between the neighborhood and adjacent spaces, as well as to the encounter between the neighborhood’s inhabitants and it’s visitors.
