Resumo(s)
Este trabalho de investigação analisa o habitar o bairro, com o foco
nos processos de apropriação dos espaços sociais e físicos, em
circunstâncias de realojamento. Pretende-se questionar o impacto e a relação
dos bairros sociais no contexto urbano, entender os processos de
realojamento e a sua influência na adaptação e apropriação dos grupos
sociais aos novos espaços, que poderão, ou não, levar a uma satisfação
residencial.
Ao abordar o contexto de realojamento é com o intuito de analisar as
camadas associadas ao estigma e à segregação social desta problemática
habitacional. O bairro elegido para esta investigação foi o Padre Cruz, na
freguesia de Carnide, concelho de Lisboa, sendo este um bairro municipal de
realojamento que evoluiu em diferentes épocas, e por isso apresenta uma
diversidade no seu discurso urbano e no seu tecido social, um fator de
diversidade que influenciou apropriações do espaço social e do espaço casa.
Neste sentido, foi feita uma análise física e social do bairro para
conhecer a sua génese, a sua evolução e a morfologia urbana, bem como a
caracterização da população residente. Procurou-se também investigar qual
o papel do arquiteto na construção da cidade, de forma a integrar a
comunidade na mesma, através da participação da população enquanto
atores ativos na mudança das suas expectativas de vida.
ABSTRACT: This work is an investigation of what is living in the neighbor, and seeks to look at the social and physical spaces appropriation process in a rehabitation context. We want to search for the impact and the relation of the social neighbors in the urban context, and understand the rehabitation processes and their influence in the appropriation of the social groups in these new spaces that might leaks to a residential satisfaction. Surrounding this sensitive context of rehabitation is to enlighten the habitation problematic that leads to social segregation. This investigation is about neighbor Padre Cruz, that is a municipal habitation that grows in different historical moments because of that he has a urban and social speech so characteristic, that influence a specific appropriation of the social and housing space. So it’s important to do a physical and social analysis to knowledge evolution of the urban morphology and understand the population. This work is also a search for the impact of the architect in the construction of the city, and the way of integrate the community by leading them to participate in these decisions.
