O enoturismo corresponde a um segmento turístico em bastante crescimento que possibilita a ligação entre o vinho e o património, permitindo enaltecer a identidade do vinho e do território envolvente. A região vitivinícola de Setúbal caracteriza-se como um forte destino enoturístico que tem vindo a diversificar a sua oferta, destacando-se as casas-museu de vinho. Estas correspondem a domínios com identidade de família-território, em meio rural ou com proximidade rural, sendo espaços museológicos que procuram preservar e divulgar a história e cultura do vinho. A presente dissertação aborda a importância que as casas-museu de vinho na região possuem para as correspondentes adegas / empresas e para o desenvolvimento do enoturismo na Região de Setúbal, sendo elas a Casa-Museu José Maria da Fonseca, a Casa Ermelinda Freitas, a ASL Tomé e a Herdade do Cebolal. A recolha e análise de informação assentou em pesquisa bibliográfica e entrevistas a responsáveis de cada um dos casos de estudo. Os resultados demonstram que as casas-museu de vinho contribuem para a diferenciação de cada adega / empresa e também para o enoturismo na região através da importância histórica de cada casa-museu, da homenagem ao passado, da fidelização dos clientes e da transmissão de conhecimento e preservação do património.
Wine tourism corresponds to a promptly growing tourism segment that enables the connection between wine and heritage, enhancing the wine identity and the surrounding territory. Setúbal’s wine region is characterized as a strong wine tourism destination that has been diversifying its offerings, standing out the winery museums. These are estates with a family-territory identity, located in rural areas or close to them, and are museological spaces that seek to preserve and promote the history and culture of the wine. This dissertation approaches the importance of the winery museums in the region have for the wineries and the development of wine tourism in the Setúbal Region, in particular the Casa-Museu José Maria da Fonseca, Casa Ermelinda Freitas, ASL Tomé, and Herdade do Cebolal. The collection and analysis of information was based on bibliographic research and interviews with those responsible for each of the case studies. The results show that the winery museums contribute to the differentiation of each winery and to the region’s wine tourism, through the historical importance of each winery-museum, the tribute to the past, customer loyalty, and both the transmission of knowledge and preservation of heritage.
