Abstract(s)
O estudo e o projeto de revitalizaĆ§Ć£o agora apresentado para a Aldeia de Vila Franca da Beira, no concelho de Oliveira do Hospital, explora numa primeira parte as questƵes relacionadas com a problemĆ”tica do despovoamento rural em Portugal. Define em primeiro lugar o espaƧo e o meio rural portuguĆŖs, seguido de uma exploraĆ§Ć£o dos fenĆ³menos do despovoamento rural e da contra-urbanizaĆ§Ć£o e termina com a identificaĆ§Ć£o dos principais motivos destes fenĆ³menos.
Numa segunda parte deste trabalho exploram-se diferentes formas de resolver o fenĆ³meno do despovoamento rural. Expondo o conceito de revitalizaĆ§Ć£o das zonas rurais e os modelos de intervenĆ§Ć£o em espaƧo rural, seguido de uma exposiĆ§Ć£o e anĆ”lise de programas de revitalizaĆ§Ć£o existentes tais como: as Aldeias HistĆ³ricas de Portugal, Aldeias de Xisto e as Aldeias digitais. Finaliza-se depois com a transiĆ§Ć£o digital e os projetos das Smart Villages em combinaĆ§Ć£o com os projetos de turismo direcionados Ć ascensĆ£o dos nĆ³madas digitais e o trabalho remoto.
A terceira parte Ć© caracterizada pelo estudo e exposiĆ§Ć£o da situaĆ§Ć£o existente da Aldeia de Vila Franca da Beira, em que se analisa aprofundadamente as vertentes urbanĆsticas, geogrĆ”ficas, demogrĆ”ficas, socioeconĆ³micas e culturais da Aldeia, atravĆ©s de estudos estatĆsticos, cartogrĆ”ficos e a monografia de um habitante da Aldeia.
A quarta e Ćŗltima fase Ć© a parte prĆ”tica deste projeto onde se aplicam as soluƧƵes exploradas Ć s problemĆ”ticas identificadas. Ć sob a forma de um projeto urbano e arquitetĆ³nico de revitalizaĆ§Ć£o, com intervenƧƵes urbanas em pontos chave da Aldeia e uma proposta para um novo equipamento - Hub tecnolĆ³gico e turĆstico da Aldeia de Vila Franca da Beira - que se propƵe travar ou atenuar o problema do despovoamento rural na freguesia de Vila Franca da Beira e no concelho.
The study and revitalization project that follows for the Village Aldeia de Vila Franca da Beira in Oliveira do Hospital explores in its first stage the issues related with the problem of rural depopulation in Portugal. Defining in first place what the Portuguese rural space is, followed by an exploration of the phenomenon of rural depopulation and population turnaround that ends with the recognition of the main reasons for these phenomenons. Consequentially the second stage of this project explores different ways to tackle the rural depopulation phenomenon. Exploring and exposing in first place the concept of rural revitalization and models for rural space intervention along with an analysis and exploration of existing revitalization programas like; Aldeias HistĆ³ricas de Portugal, Aldeias de Xisto and Aldeias Digitais. This phase will end with the subject of digital transition and the project Smart villages in combination with turism projects directed towards the ascending trend of digital nomads and remote work. The third stage is caracterized by being a phase of case study, where the existing situation of the Village of Vila Franca da Beira will be deeply explored, exposed and analyzed. With the aim of understanding the; urban, geografical, demografical, socio-economic and cultural aspects of the Village. This wil be done through statistical studies, cartography and a monography from a inhabitant of the Village. The fourth stage is the practical stage of this project where explored solutions will be applied to the problems identified. The solution proposed to solve and mitigate the rural depopulation problem will be in the form of an urban and architecture revitalization project, that proposes urban interventions in key areas of the village and the proposal for a new building - Technological and Tourist Hub of Vila Franca da Beira.
