Com o passar do tempo, é do domínio do conhecimento geral, o reconhecimento da transformação do desenho, organização e paisagem da cidade, como o principal ponto de dinamização e investimento/(re)desenvolvimento urbano das cidades.
Tomando como ponto de partida, o abandono existente em Portugal de grande parte do património edificado com grande valor histórico, proponho a transformação da paisagem, reabilitação e revitalização de um local abandonado, a Quinta da Fonte da Pipa, situada no concelho de Loulé, distrito de Faro.
A proposta passa pela transformação do espaço já edificado, atribuindo uma nova função em que a nova paisagem parte do ponto central, o Palácio da Fonte da Pipa, mandado construir em 1874, por Marçal Pacheco.
Será levado a cabo, um projeto que compreende o valor simbólico do pré-existente e as novas construções, propondo a criação de uma Escola Superior Agrícola, como extensão funcional da Universidade do Algarve e como este pode ser interpretado por espaço público.
ABSTRACT: Over time it is, general knowledge the recognition of transformation of the drawings, organization and city landscape, as the main point in dynamizing and investing in urban cities (re)development. Taking as a starting the point the current abandonment in Portugal, of most built heritage building with big historic value, this work proposes the landscape transformation, rehabilitation an revitalization of and abandonment place, Quinta da Fonte da Pipa, situated in Loulé county, Faro district. This proposal aims to transform the already built heritage site, giving it a new purpose where the new landscape is part of the main center point, the Palácio da Fonte da Pipa, built in 1874 by order of Marçal Pacheco. A study will be carried out where the focus will be in the symbolic value of pre-existent building and new constructions, proposing the creation of a new Faculty of Agriculture, as functional extension of the Universidade do Algarve and how it can be interpreted as public space.
