| dc.description.abstract | This study is concerned with the acquisition of structures with non-basic word order involving constituents on the left and right peripheries of the sentence in European Portuguese (EP). Considering the recent debate on the acquisition of interfaces (especially the syntax/discourse interface), the main goal of this study is to discuss children’s comprehension of structures with left- and right-peripheral constituents (topics and antitopics), taking into account their syntactic and information status in both child and adult grammars. | pt_PT |
