Resumo(s)
This article presents a project developed in a school context. The project was build upon in two phases: it starts by drawing a selfportrait and then suggests a self-reconstruction by caricature. The process is of transdisciplinary nature, as it involves the subjects of Drawing A and Art Workshop that favor the developing of individuality of each student. The methodology points to a deconstruction of the student’s image and then to its own reconstruction. The project allows the students reflection on their self-concept, individuality, entity, difficulties, setbacks and embarrassments. From the self-knowledge and self-acceptation in their differences and similarities with others, the student may grow as a person and an artist
