Atualmente, os websites funcionam como cartão de visita das empresas. É
possível apresentar propósitos e projetos, transmitindo credibilidade e segurança,
de forma rápida e acessível. Os designers de interação têm como
função aprimorar a experiência do utilizador, objetivando o aumento das
taxas de conversão e, consequentemente, o sucesso dos websites.
Surge uma oportunidade de estágio na empresa Imaginary Cloud – de desenvolvimento
de software e de UX/UI design – com o propósito de otimizar
o seu website, através da aplicação da metodologia UX Audit. A aplicação
e compreensão dos métodos da auditoria permitiu entender a divergência
existente entre métodos aplicados no contexto empresarial e métodos
lecionados ao longo da formação académica, baseados por sua vez
em métodos científicos de diferentes autores.
O principal objetivo do estudo centra-se na discussão e reflexão crítica
acerca da abordagem metodológica utilizada pela empresa para a otimização
de um produto, por meio do confronto com outras metodologias provenientes
dos conhecimentos adquiridos durante a formação académica,
assim como da revisão da literatura.
Ainda, a reflexão acerca das diferentes metodologias abordadas ao longo
do estudo contribuíram como fundamento para o redesenho de diferentes
secções do website, resultando num produto final otimizado que visa o aumento
das taxas de conversão.
Nowadays, websites work as business cards for companies. It is possible to present purposes and projects, conveying credibility and security, in a fast and accessible way. Interaction designers have the function of improving the user experience, aiming to increase conversion rates and, consequently, the success of websites. An internship opportunity arose at Imaginary Cloud - a software development and UX/UI design company - with the purpose of optimizing their website by applying the UX Audit methodology. The application and understanding of the audit methods allowed us to understand the divergence between methods applied in the business context and methods taught during the academic education, based on scientific methods from different authors. The main objective of the study focuses on the discussion and critical reflection about the methodological approach used by the company for the optimization of a product, through confrontation with other methodologies coming from the knowledge acquired during the academic formation, as well as from the literature review. Furthermore, the reflection about the different methodologies discussed throughout the study contributed as a basis for the redesign of different sections of the website, resulting in an optimized final product that aims to increase conversion rates.
