The research took place in four prisons integrated in a pilot project that was the implementation of a training program for entrepreneurship from 2006 to 2007, promoted by the Portuguese Prison Service. The sample included six technicians, two prison guards and a director. As a research strategy was chosen the qualitative method and used a semi-structured interview as the instrument of data collection. The answers, after transcribed, were subjected to content analysis, with the subsequent categorization. The main findings revealed that, in the perspective of the technicians, guards and director, the main objectives of the Program were not achieved. From the data analysis, the positive results are the improvement of personal and social skills, particularly the communication and assertive behaviour and level of development of thinking skills and planned thinking. To note in this investigation the entrepreneurship as a innovative subject and the innovation and enthusiasm aroused by the experienced Program methods.
