This document describes the activities undertaken as part of the Curricular Internship for the Master's Degree in Sports Training, focusing in Competitive Pool Swimming, carried out with the Infantis team of Sport Algés e Dafundo during the 2022/2023 sports season. The main goal of this internship was to apply the theoretical knowledge, through observation, analysis, and intervention in the processes of planning, execution, and monitoring of training, while also tracking the progress of young swimmers in training and competition contexts. This experience provided to be fundamental into the professional environment, enabling the integration of technical, pedagogical, and methodological components which are inherent to sports training. Particular attention was given to the technical improvement of swimming strokes, the structuring and periodization of training, as well as the control and evaluation of performance, with the aim to optimize athletic performance. This journey promotes a critical reflection on training practices applied to youth development, highlighting the importance of individualization in the swimmers development process, while also ensuring a motivating and enriching environment. The experience proved fundamental in consolidating the technical-scientific and practical competencies essential for professional practice in the field of sports training in swimming. The report is divided into seven chapters: Introduction, Literature Review, Training Process, Research, Community Engagement, Final Reflections, and References. In the scientific research chapter, the correlation between the evolution of handgrip strength and the evolution of swimming speed throughout the season was analyzed in the Juvenis team of Sport Algés e Dafundo.
