| dc.description.abstract | Todos os homens têm uma tendência natural para um bem transcendente e absoluto e nesta inclinação fundamenta-se o seu desejo natural de felicidade que se apresenta como algo necessário, quer dizer, o homem é naturalmente vocacionado para a felicidade. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal investigar a possibilidade do ensino da felicidade por parte de um mestre (humano) a um discípulo. Partindo do pensamento de São Tomás de Aquino (1224/25-1274), no que diz respeito à teoria e prática da educação, a partir da sua teoria do conhecimento, bem como no caminho da felicidade ou bem-aventurança humana, pretende-se compreender qual o papel do mestre e do discípulo, assim como a relação entre ambos no processo de aquisição do conhecimento e no caminho para a bem-aventurança humana, identificada como o fim último da vida humana. Deus inscreveu no homem as sementes do conhecimento ou princípios universais do conhecimento, as sementes das virtudes e um desejo natural de felicidade, razão pela qual é possível justificar uma ligação entre o ensino, a virtude e a felicidade. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | All men have a natural tendency towards a transcendent and absolute good and this inclination is based on their natural desire for happiness, which appears as something necessary, that is, man is naturally inclined towards happiness. The main objective of this work is to investigate the possibility of teaching happiness by a (human) master to a disciple. Starting from the thoughts of Saint Thomas Aquinas (1224/25-1274), with regard to the theory and practice of education, based on his theory of knowledge, and on the path of happiness or human bliss, it is intended to understand the role of the master and the disciple, as well as the relationship between them in the process of acquiring knowledge and on the path to human bliss, identified as the ultimate end of human life. God inscribed in man the seeds of knowledge or universal principles of knowledge, the seeds of virtues and a natural desire for happiness, which is why it is possible to justify a link between teaching, virtue and happiness. | pt_PT |
