Abstract(s)
Deus inscreveu no homem as sementes do
e a felicidade.
All men have a natural tendency towards a transcendent and absolute good and this inclination is based on their natural desire for happiness, which appears as something necessary, that is, man is naturally inclined towards happiness. The main objective of this work is to investigate the possibility of teaching happiness by a (human) master to a disciple. Starting from the thoughts of Saint Thomas Aquinas (1224/25-1274), with regard to the theory and practice of education, based on his theory of knowledge, and on the path of happiness or human bliss, it is intended to understand the role of the master and the disciple, as well as the relationship between them in the process of acquiring knowledge and on the path to human bliss, identified as the ultimate end of human life. God inscribed in man the seeds of knowledge or universal principles of knowledge, the seeds of virtues and a natural desire for happiness, which is why it is possible to justify a link between teaching, virtue and happiness.
