| dc.description.abstract | Os canais desportivos dependem da captação e retenção de subscritores. Para melhor entender o comportamento dos subscritores importa investigar o que os leva a ver desporto seja ao vivo ou na televisão. Este trabalho aborda as motivações dos adeptos de um clube nacional, Benfica, e investiga os dois canais desportivos sujeitos a subscrição a nível nacional, a BTV pertencente ao Benfica e a Sport Tv, o único canal de televisão nacional dedicada exclusivamente a desporto. Aborda-se também a influência da lealdade dos adeptos, em termos comportamentais e atitudinais para perceber se importa no momento de subscrever o canal concorrente ao do seu clube. O estudo foi alicerçado numa revisão de literatura inicial sobre os temas relevantes para o trabalho empírico. A recolha de dados envolveu a aplicação de um questionário online a adeptos do Benfica, com recurso a uma amostra de conveniência. Percebeu-se que as motivações estudadas não apresentam uma grande influência na opção de subscrever um dos dois canais televisivos. Por outro lado na subscrição ou não de qualquer dos canais, as motivações já demonstraram ter relevância. Os adeptos demonstram ainda, uma maior lealdade atitudinal que comportamental apesar de nenhuma ser relevante para a subscrição dos canais estudados. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The sports channels depend on attracting and retaining subscribers. To better understand the behavior of subscribers is important to investigate what makes them watch sports, live or on television. This work discusses the motivations of the supporters of a national Club, Benfica, and investigates the two sports channels subject to subscription at national level, BTV the Benfica?s own channel and Sport TV the only Portuguese exclusive sports channel. In addition, deals with the influence of the loyalty of supporters in behavioral and attitudinal terms to understand if it matters at the time of subscribing to the competitor channel of your club. The study was supported by an initial literature review about the relevant themes to the empiric study. The collection of data was made by an online questionnaire to supporters of Benfica, by one sample per convenience. It was noticed that the motivations studied present no great influence in the choice of which channel is subscribed. On the other hand, it is somehow relevant whether they subscribe or not any channel. Supporters demonstrate still greater atitudinal loyalty than behavioral, however neither are important for the subscription of the channels. | pt_PT |
