O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino de Artes Visuais do 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Ensino Secundário, da Universidade de Lisboa, e apresenta a implementação da Unidade Didática Maia, a Formiga da Liberdade. Projeto de Ilustração. O mesmo reúne um enquadramento teórico, uma contextualização escolar, uma explicitação do planeamento e descrição da lecionação da Unidade, e por fim, uma análise de resultados. A Unidade Didática decorreu no segundo semestre do ano letivo 2023/2024, no contexto da disciplina de Desenho-A, numa turma do 11.º ano do Curso Científico-Humanístico de Artes Visuais, na Escola Secundária com 3.º ciclo de Romeu Correia, em Almada. Surgiu com o Projeto de Escola 50 Anos de Liberdade à Democracia: As portas que Abril abriu e consistiu na ilustração de uma fábula, com a temática da Revolução de 1974, com recurso à técnica da linogravura. Do desenho da Liberdade à liberdade do Desenho, título do relatório, remete para o percurso que a Unidade Didática percorreu e para a associação da Arte, em particular, do Desenho, a um papel transformador e de abertura, um manifesto ao serviço da liberdade de expressão, do comprometimento cívico e da intervenção social e política.
This report was prepared as part of the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master’s Degree in Visual Arts Education for the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education, at the University of Lisbon. It presents the implementation of the Didactic Unit Maia, the Ant of Freedom. Illustration Project. It includes a theoretical framework, a school context, a detailed description of the planning and teaching of the Didactic Unit, and finally, an analysis of the results. The Didactic Unit took place in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, as part of the Drawing-A course, with a class from the 11th grade of the Scientific-Humanistic Visual Arts Program, at the Secondary School with the 3rd cycle of Romeu Correia, in Almada. It emerged as part of the school project 50 Years of Freedom to Democracy: The Doors that April Opened, and consisted of illustrating a fable, with the theme of the 1974 Revolution, using the technique of linocut. From the Drawing of Freedom to the Freedom of Drawing, the title of the report, refers to the path followed by the Didactic Unit and to the association of Art, particularly Drawing, with a transformative and opening role, a manifesto in service of freedom of expression, civic commitment, and social and political intervention.
