O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito do ramo de aprofundamento de competências profissionais, pertencente ao Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora na Faculdade de Motricidade Humana. Desenvolvido na Casa da Psicomotricidade, o estágio curricular integrou sessões de intervenção psicomotora em contexto clínico na área de saúde mental com idades compreendidas entre 5-17 anos, numa vertente individual e de grupo. O relatório é composto por três capítulos distintos. O primeiro aborda o conceito, estatísticas e políticas de promoção de saúde mental infantil e juvenil, a expressão comportamental e psicopatologia, e a intervenção psicomotora na população atendida. O segundo capítulo foca-se no enquadramento da Casa da Psicomotricidade nos domínios de intervenção e formação em psicomotricidade; enquanto no terceiro capítulo é apresentada a organização das sessões, a caracterização do processo terapêutico, a descrição das crianças e jovens acompanhadas, a análise de estudos de caso e outras atividades complementares ao estágio. Considerando os resultados obtidos pelas avaliações, conclui-se a pertinência da intervenção psicomotora em problemáticas de saúde mental infantil e juvenil, o que espelha a importância em abordar corpo em movimento, a relação entre a motricidade e as funções psíquicas, encarando de forma integrada as áreas comportamental, motora, cognitiva, social e emocional do indivíduo
This report was created within the scope of the professional skills development module, part of the master’s degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Human Movement. Developed at the Casa da Psicomotricidade, the curricular internship encompassed psychomotor intervention sessions in a clinical setting within the mental health field, for individuals aged between 5-17 years, in both individual and group formats. The report is structured into three distinct chapters. The first chapter addresses the concept, statistics, and policies related to the promotion of child and adolescent mental health, behavioral expression, psychopathology, and psychomotor intervention in the population served. The second chapter focuses on the framework of Casa da Psicomotricidade within the domains of psychomotor intervention and training, while the third chapter presents the organization of the sessions, the characterization of the therapeutic process, the description of the children and adolescents assisted, the analysis of case studies, and additional activities conducted during the internship. Based on the results obtained from the evaluations, it is concluded that psychomotor intervention is highly relevant in addressing child and adolescent mental health issues. This highlights the importance of engaging with the body in movement, understanding the relationship between motor skills and psychic functions, and adopting an integrated approach to the behavioral, motor, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of an individual
