impactos destas decisões no meio ambiente.
With the evolution and adoption of new technological innovations, the adoption of methods considered "traditional", turns out not to be enough in the supply chain processes of organizations, whether at the level of strategic planning, in manufacturing processes, logistics, human resources, and others. To this end, it is necessary to adopt, adapt and even replace the processes that interconnect supply chains, both on the retailer and consumer side, aiming at optimization. However, just process optimization is not enough for organizations. With the evolution of trends and climate change, sustainability and corporate social responsibility have become topics of great importance in the definition of strategies in organizations, both at an economic, social and environmental level. On the other hand, given the evolution of an increasingly globalized economy, along with business competitiveness, it becomes increasingly necessary to obtain competitive advantages in relation to other organizations, facing the current problems of cost efficiency and sustainability which, currently, have focused on the mass production of waste generated by organizations. The challenge for companies turns out not to be the definition of new strategies or innovation in supply chains, but how to reconcile the maximum possible efficiency, taking into account the economic, social and environmental levels not only of the company, but also of those who are part of it. of its value network, and the impacts of these decisions on the environment. Examining the current methodology in this case study, this work intends to study strategic points for the supply chain of an e-commerce company, with the objective of making the trade-off that exists in the three dimensions of sustainability of this chain: environmental, social and economic. The developed approach will be supported by multi-criteria methods, where alternatives for the application of logistics centers in the Algarve region will be analyzed, using the SMARTER multi-criteria method, which will determine the most favorable solution, using various criteria applied.
