História da evolução religiosa no concelho de Rio Maior

Este relatório de estágio teve como objectivo a investigação da evolução de cultos religiosos na área que forma actualmente o concelho de Rio Maior, desde a Pré-história até à actualidade, e a partir desta informação realizaram-se dois projectos de roteiros turísticos que se intitularam “A Rota do Sagrado”, de modo a serem utilizados pelos Serviços de Arqueologia e de Turismo da Câmara Municipal de Rio Maior.
A metodologia utilizada foi o inventário de campo e de arquivo, de carácter sistemático e exaustivo, do património imóvel, móvel e imaterial do concelho e a partir do método iconológico a análise da memória colectiva presente neste património.
Pôde-se verificar que no concelho de Rio Maior que existem vestígios de cultos religiosos desde o período do Neolítico e que, ao longo da sua história, houve uma sobreposição de religiões na área do município ocorrendo situações de sincretismo.
Este estudo procurou ainda ser um meio de salvaguarda deste conjunto patrimonial, evidenciando a necessidade da sua preservação com a sua divulgação e valorização.
Abstract: This internship report aimed to investigate the evolution of religious services in the area now forming the county of Rio Maior, from prehistory to the present, and from this information there were two projects of tours that are titled "the Way of the Sacred, "in order to be used by Department of Archaeology and Tourism of the Municipality of Rio Maior. The methodology used was a field inventory and file, systematic and comprehensive character, heritage property, movable and intangible from the county and the method iconological analysis of collective memory in this heritage. It was verified that the municipality of Rio Maior have traces of religious worship since the Neolithic period and that, throughout its history, there was an overlap of religions in the area of the municipality of syncretism occurring situations. This study also sought to be a means of safeguarding this heritage, obviating the need for its preservation with its dissemination and utilization.
