O presente relatório de estágio, intitulado “O Perfil Profissional do Formador de Adultos da APAV”, insere-se no âmbito do estágio curricular do Mestrado em Educação e Formação, na área de especialização em Organização e Gestão da Educação e Formação, do Instituto de Educação da Universidade de Lisboa. O estágio foi realizado no Centro de Formação da Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vítima (APAV), decorrendo entre 18 de setembro de 2023 e 18 de junho de 2024, num total aproximado de nove meses, cumprindo um horário de dezasseis horas semanais. Para além da componente prática, centrada na colaboração com a gestão e organização das práticas formativas e de supervisão desenvolvidas no seio da instituição, o estágio integrou igualmente uma vertente de investigação cujo propósito consistiu em compreender o perfil profissional do formador de adultos no contexto da APAV. Procurou-se, assim, identificar as competências, funções e fatores que contribuem para a construção desse perfil. De modo a responder a esta problemática, foi seguida uma abordagem qualitativa, recorrendo-se a técnicas características desta metodologia, nomeadamente a pesquisa documental, a observação participante, as entrevistas semiestruturadas e o diário de campo. O corpus empírico foi sujeito a análise de conteúdo. Os resultados do estudo demonstram que o perfil das formadoras de adultos da APAV se desenvolve através da articulação entre conhecimento técnico-científico, experiência profissional e formação pedagógica. As entrevistadas apresentam percursos diversos, mas convergentes na combinação entre saber e prática, destacando competências relacionais, comunicacionais e éticas adquiridas no exercício profissional. Em síntese, o perfil do formador de adultos na APAV traduz um processo contínuo de aperfeiçoamento e integração entre conhecimento, prática e valores, refletindo o compromisso da instituição com a qualidade da formação e a promoção da dignidade e proteção das vítimas.
This internship report, entitled “The Professional Profile of the Adult Educator at APAV”, was developed within the scope of the Curricular Internship of the Master’s Degree in Education and Training, specialization in Organization and Management of Education and Training, at the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon. The internship was carried out at the Training Centre of the Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV), between September 18, 2023, and June 18, 2024, over approximately nine months, with a weekly schedule of sixteen hours. In addition to the practical component, focused on collaboration in the management and organization of training and supervision activities developed within the institution, the internship also included a research component aimed at understanding the professional profile of the adult educator in the context of APAV. The study sought to identify the competences, functions, and factors that contribute to the construction of this profile. To address this research question, a qualitative approach was adopted, using methods characteristic of this methodology, namely document analysis, participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and field notes. The empirical corpus was subjected to content analysis. The results show that the profile of APAV’s adult educators develops through the articulation of technical-scientific knowledge, professional experience, and pedagogical training. The interviewees display diverse yet complementary paths, combining knowledge and practice, and emphasizing relational, communication, and ethical competences acquired in their professional activity. In summary, the profile of the adult educator at APAV results from a continuous process of improvement and integration between knowledge, practice, and values, reflecting the institution’s commitment to the quality of training and the promotion of dignity and victim protection.
