Esta dissertação pretende definir o conceito e a relação entre interesse e motivação, com enfoque na geração, desenvolvimento e mecanismos de ação de interesse, utilizando a perspetiva da Psicologia como base teórica, no contexto da importância do interesse para aprendizagem de uma língua estrangeira. Ao mesmo tempo, o interesse, tal como discutido neste trabalho, não é mesmo que a motivação. Além disso, a motivação dos estudantes e professores tem vindo a diminuir devido à rigidez dos cursos de língua na China, que é demasiado singular e rígida no seu modelo educacional. A essência da educação é cultivar as pessoas, então como fazer com que os alunos formem uma atitude positiva em relação à aprendizagem de uma língua estrangeira, participem ativamente dele e estejam dispostos a explorar é o objetivo final da pesquisa deste trabalho. Só quando os professores compreenderem melhor todo o processo de geração de interesse poderão ajudar os estudantes a desenvolverem melhor o interesse na aprendizagem de línguas, e esperemos que isto proporcione alguma ajuda e referência para futuras pesquisas e aulas.
This dissertation aims to define the concept and relationship between interest and motivation, with a focus on the generation, development and action mechanisms of interest, using the perspective of Psychology as a theoretical basis, in the context of the importance of interest for learning a foreign language. At the same time, interest, as discussed in this article, is not equal to motivation. Moreover, the motivation of students and teachers has been declining due to the rigidity of the language class in China, which is too singular and rigid in its educational model. The essence of education is to cultivate people, so how to help students to form a positive attitude towards learning a second language, actively participate in it, and be willing to explore is the ultimate goal of this paper's research. Only when teachers better understand the whole process of interest generation will they be able to help students better develop an interest in language learning, and hopefully, this will provide some help and reference for future research and lessons.
