O impacto da recente crise económico-financeira tem sido um tema de grande foque nos últimos tempos pelas consequências sentidas a nível global. Este trabalho tem como principal objectivo a realização de uma análise económica e empresarial das empresas do sector das bebidas, com o intuito de observar o eventual impacto que o sector sofreu em Portugal neste período de turbulência.
Para se estudar a evolução da Indústria das bebidas, é fundamental estudar também a composição da mesma, ou seja, os seus subsectores e proceder a uma comparação entre o sector e a economia Portuguesa. Com esse objectivo é feita uma análise através de indicadores macroeconómicos e microeconómicos, tendo em conta alguns anos pré-crise e os anos em que o seu impacto se manifesta mais acentuado. É também efectuada uma análise à estabilidade do balanço e da demonstração de resultados deste tipo de indústria transformadora, e aos modelos econométricos desenvolvidos com o intuito de verificar o impacto das variáveis explicativas na rentabilidade do activo, na rendibilidade dos capitais próprios e na produtividade das empresas do sector em estudo.
The impact of recent economic-financial crisis has been a topic of great focus in recent times due to the lived situation worldwide. This work has as main purpose the achievement of economic and business analysis of enterprises in the beverages sector, in order to observe the impact that the sector suffered in Portugal in this period of turbulence. In order to study the evolution of the beverages industry is also essential to study the composition of the same, that is, their sub-sectors and make a comparison between the sector and the Portuguese economy. For this purpose an analysis is made through macroeconomic and microeconomic indicators, taking into account some pre-crisis years and the years in which the impact is manifested more pronounced. It is also analyzed the stability of the balance sheet and income statement of this type of manufacturing, as well as the econometric models developed in order to verify the impact of the explanatory variables on the return on asset, the return on equity and business productivity of the sector under study.
