Resumo(s)
A margem sul do Tejo é caracterizada por
aglomerados dispersos, implantados nas zonas onde
a orografia o permite. Os conceitos reutilização e
transformação (temas elegidos neste Projeto Final de
Mestrado) é aplicado a este território, como
perspetiva condutora, com vista à reabilitação do
aglomerado urbano Cova do Vapor.
São analisadas intervenções similares para
compreender os conceitos temáticos e encontrar a
linha de charneira que os distingue.
É apresentado o enquadramento e caracterização
da Cova do Vapor, do ponto de vista urbanístico,
geográfico, histórico e também dos instrumentos
territoriais.
Com base na análise e conceitos estudados, é
elaborado o plano de estrutura A Cova do Vapor e a
Margem Sul do Tejo, caracterizado por um percurso
que é interrompido nos aglomerados urbanos mais
significativos, fazendo corresponder a cada segmento
um ambiente, uma materialidade, um sistema de
vistas, entre outros.
Numa aproximação ao território estudado, focando o
aglomerado urbano localizado na interseção do rio
com o oceano, é realizado o Plano de detalhe Os
limites da Cova do Vapor, criando diversos cenários
que permitiram uma reflexão sobre a temática
envolvida, elegendo um deles, desenvolvendo-o e
apresentando-o nas peças escritas e desenhadas do
plano.
Numa nova aproximação, agora dentro da Cova do
Vapor, é projetado um equipamento de referência no
aglomerado urbano: A Capela e o Adro.
ABSTRACT: The south bank of the Tagus is characterized by dispersed clusters, implanted in areas where the orography allows it. The concepts of reuse and transformation (themes chosen in this Master's Final Project) are applied to this territory, as a guiding perspective, with a view to the rehabilitation of the urban cluster Cova do Vapor. Similar interventions are analyzed to understand the thematic concepts and to find the hinge line that distinguishes them. This investigation focuses on the framework and characterization of Cova do Vapor, from a geographical, historical, of the territorial instruments, and contemporary points of view. Based on the analysis and concepts studied, the following Structure Plan is drawn: A Cova do Vapor e a Margem Sul do Tejo. Which is characterized by a path that is interrupted in the most significant urban agglomerations, corresponding to each segment an environment, a materiality and a system of views. Focusing on the studied territory, mainly on the urban cluster located at the intersection of the river with the ocean, it is elaborated the Detail Plan Os limites da Cova do Vapor, creating several scenarios which open the door for some reflection on the theme. Selecting one of the scenarios for the purpose of developing and presenting it in the written and drawn sections. Finally, specifically inside Cova do Vapor, it makes sense to design an equipment of reference in the urban agglomerate: A Capela e o Adro.
