Num contexto empresarial cada vez mais globalizado e competitivo emerge a necessidade de desenvolver uma equipa com valores próprios, que aumentem o desempenho da empresa e vantagem competitiva. Assim, a presente investigação pretende verificar a influência da virtuosidade e cidadania organizacional no desempenho individual. Neste sentido, o estudo conta com as seguintes hipóteses de investigação: H1 - A Virtuosidade Organizacional afeta positivamente o Comportamento de Cidadania Organizacional; H2 - A Virtuosidade Organizacional afeta positivamente o Desempenho Individual; H3 - O Comportamento de Cidadania Organizacional afeta positivamente o Desempenho Individual. Para confirmar ou refutar as hipóteses foi realizado um estudo de caso sobre a multinacional Grenke Renting, com recurso ao software SPSS - Statistical Package for Social Sciences 21, para o tratamento de dados. Concluiu-se que a Virtuosidade Organizacional apresenta um efeito positivo do Comportamento de Cidadania Organizacional, mas não no Desempenho Individual. Por outro lado, o Comportamento de Cidadania Organizacional apresenta um efeito positivo no Desempenho Individual.
In a business environment more and more globalized and competitive emerges the need to develop a team with eigenvalues that increase business performance and competitive advantage. Thus, this research aims to examine the influence of organizational citizenship and virtuosity on individual performance. In this sense, the study presents the following research hypotheses: H1 - The Organizational Virtuosity positively affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior; H2 - The Organizational Virtuosity positively affects Individual Performance; H3 - The Organizational Citizenship Behavior positively affects Individual Performance. To confirm or refute the hypotheses we conducted a case study on the transnational Grenke Renting, using the software SPSS - Statistical Package for Social Sciences 21, for data analysis. It was concluded that the Organizational Virtuosity has a positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, but not in the Individual Performance, whereas Organizational Citizenship Behavior presents a positive effect on Individual Performance.
