Abstract(s)
O presente Projeto Final de Mestrado inserida no tema “Construir a Contemporaneidade sobre um Passado Industrial” com intervenção na Manutenção Militar em Lisboa, consiste no desenvolver de um projeto com enquadramento tórico. Pretende incrementar programas que reformulem a área de intervenção de modo a criar soluções habitacionais, sociais e culturais que respeitem a pré-existência.
Dentro do conjunto Manutenção Miliar, foi proposta a intervenção aprofundada nos dois edifícios considerados principais: Antigo Convento e Residências. Adotando um discurso critico que aponta um novo olhar sobre aquilo que consideramos reabilitar e preservar, desenvolve-se um método de intervenção focado na utilização dos principais elementos presentes na arquitetura: luz, cor e matéria.
A base da presente solução é o estudo aprofundado dos elementos acima referidos e o modo como estes enriquecem a experiência de habitar o espaço. Procuramos demonstrar que estes, apesar de parecerem inertes em relação à elaboração do projeto, conferem ao mesmo a sua total valorização.
ABSTRACT: The present Project of Master’s Dissetation, inserted in the theme "Building the Contemporaneity on an Industrial Past" with intervention in the Military Maintenance in Lisbon consists in the development of a project with theoretical framework. It intends to increase programs that reformulate the area of intervention in order to create housing, social and cultural solutions that respect pre-existence. Within Miliar Maintenance, a detailed intervention was proposed in the two main buildings: Old Convent and Residences. Adopting a critical discourse that points a new look at what we consider to rehabilitate and preserve, a method of intervention is developed focused on the use of the main elements present in the architecture: light, color and matter. The basis of this solution is the in-depth study of the above elements and how they enrich the experience of inhabiting the space. We try to demonstrate that, although they seem inert in relation to the design of the project, they confer their total valorization.
