Abstract(s)
conservação do património natural.
As conclusões
In recent years, nature tourism and tourism in natural parks has made a significant impact on the national tourism scene, with a growing number of tourists looking for new experiences that combine leisure, relaxation and the preservation of natural spaces. Digital transformation has played a crucial role in driving this change, enabling the development of new approaches and innovative tools to improve the visitor experience and promote the conservation of natural heritage. This study addresses the importance of Information and Communication Technologies in the context of nature tourism, with a specific focus on the visitor experience and interpretation of the natural heritage in the Arrábida Natural Park. To this end, various research methodologies were carried out, including questionnaires, semi-structured interviews with representatives of the park's management bodies and benchmarking of good practices in other natural parks. The conclusions reached through this study indicate that ICT is, from the point of view of the various interlocutors involved, an essential driving force in improving the visitor experience by providing accessible and interactive information on natural heritage. In addition, ICT plays a key role in raising environmental awareness, promoting greater awareness and preservation attitudes among visitors. This work therefore emphasises the need for a more robust and strategic integration of ICT into the management and promotion policies of natural parks, aimed not only at visitor satisfaction, but also at environmental awareness and preservation.
