Following the United Nations (UN) conference on Sustainable Development, held in 2021, 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were launched, which define global priorities and aspirations to eradicate poverty and create a life with dignity and opportunities for all, within the limits of our planet by 2030. Although each country’s government is largely responsible for the implementation of this initiative, Higher Education Institutions (HEI), which are privileged bodies in the dissemination of knowledge, play a crucial role on the SDGs. HEI can contribute to the SDGs in four different ways, which are research, education, campus and society. Even though the four activities are often discussed separately, in reality they are closely intertwined. In the scope of this project, developed in partnership with the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon (ISEG), a Business Intelligence (BI) solution was developed that can clearly and correctly map the impact of the teaching and research activities carried out by ISEG between 2011 and 2021. Thus, using the guidelines of the developments carried out and after evaluating the possible data sources, it was necessary to add new dimensions ("DimPeople" and "DimDepartment") to the existing dimensional model, study new requirements, as well as update and modify the analyzed information and respective data sources. Despite the difficulties experienced during the data extraction process, this development allowed to consolidate themes taught in the master's degree, to acquire new knowledge and also to elaborate a set of dashboards so that ISEG can make decisions based on the analysis provided.
