Uma abordagem fenomenológica às organizações inteligentes: a perspetiva dos estudantes de pós-graduação

Abstract(s)
A avaliação dos sistemas de informação tem frequentemente relegado para segundo plano o
elemento humano. Partindo da análise de Choo relativa à Organização e Gestão do Conhecimento no seio
da Organização Inteligente, e da proposta metodológica da Fenomenologia, são investigadas as
experiências de estudantes de cursos pós-graduados (2.º e 3.º Ciclos do Ensino Superior) lecionados em
Portugal, relativamente aos procedimentos administrativos nas Instituições de Ensino Superior,
perspetivados no âmbito dos sistemas de informação das organizações. Para o efeito, efetuam-se
entrevistas eletrónicas estruturadas que permitem colher as perceções dos estudantes face aos sistemas
de informação, particularmente no que se refere aos procedimentos administrativos, e que evidenciem
fenómenos de insuficiência, falhas de conceção, funcionamento e desalinhamento, captados pelas
vivências dos sujeitos, e que tenham resultado, por exemplo, em frustrações, sugestões de melhoria, etc.
Os resultados informam sobre fenómenos reais, porque percecionados por várias pessoas, mas que não
costumam ser documentados e, logo não estudados. De uma forma geral, as Instituições de Ensino Superior
são percecionadas de forma positiva, apresentando ainda algumas falhas no funcionamento dos sistemas
de informação.
The information systems assessment has often relegated the human element to the background. Based on Choo's analysis of the Organization and Knowledge Management within the Intelligent Organization, and Phenomenology’s methodological proposal, we investigate the experiences of students of Portuguese postgraduate courses (2nd and 3rd Cycles of Higher Education) regarding the administrative procedures in Higher Education Institutions, within the scope of its information systems. For this purpose, we carried out structured electronic interviews to gather students' perceptions of information systems, particularly in regard to administrative procedures, and specifically highlighting phenomena of insufficiency, misconfiguration, misalignment and lack of knowledge captured in subjects' experiences, and resulting, for instance, in frustration, suggestions for improvement, etc. The results report real phenomena, because they are perceived by several people, but usually are not documented and thus not studied. In general, the Higher Education Institutions are perceived under a positive light, but still display some failures in the functioning of their information systems.
