Abstract(s)
A cidade de Lisboa apresenta-se atualmente como um território maioritariamente denso e consolidado. Porém, grande parte desse território contém edifícios devolutos, património desqualificado, infraestruturas e equipamentos desvigorados. Este panorama resulta numa cidade que não se desenvolve de forma uniforme e que tem áreas segregadas.
É neste sentido que surge o presente trabalho cujo caso de estudo é representado por Marvila. Este é um local que se encontra desintegrado de Lisboa desde o período de desindustrialização, que provocou o abandono do património industrial e o abrandamento do desenvolvimento desta zona oriental Lisboeta.
Este trabalho formaliza um plano de intervenção urbano e arquitetónico que segue a Estratégia de Reabilitação Urbana planificada para Lisboa e que sugere a abordagem de um programa híbrido como método de intervenção urbana.
Com esta intervenção procura-se dar resposta às necessidades da população atual, desenvolver e dinamizar o território e, ao mesmo tempo, garantir a permanência do carácter pós-industrial.

ABSTRACT: The city of Lisbon is nowadays a mostly dense and consolidated territory. However, much of this territory contains empty buildings, disqualified heritage, infrastructures and equipment devastated. This panorama results in a city that doesn’t develop uniformly and has segregated areas. It is in this sense that the present work arises whose case study is represented by Marvila. This is a place that has been disintegrated from Lisbon since the period of deindustrialization, which has caused the abandonment of the industrial heritage and the slowing down of the development of this eastern part of Lisbon. This work formalizes an urban and architectural intervention plan that follows the urban rehabilitation strategy planned for Lisbon and which suggests the approach of a hybrid program as an urban intervention method. This intervention seeks to meet the needs of the current population, develop the territory and, at the same time, ensure the permanence of the post-industrial character.
