O relatório de estágio “Os papéis do gestor e a cultura organizacional numa empresa de
formação profissional”, aborda a questão do trabalho do gestor atendendo à sua cultura
organizacional. Mais precisamente, o trabalho visa descrever, analisar e compreender a cultura
organizacional de uma empresa de formação profissional, assim como caraterizar os papéis dos
gestores envolvidos na investigação, tendo por base o seu trabalho quotidiano.
No que concerne aos objetivos do mesmo, estes prendem-se com: (a) caraterização da
organização e da cultura organizacional existente; (b) caraterização do trabalho dos gestores e
das tarefas por eles desenvolvidas; (c) identificação dos papéis desempenhados pelos gestores
no decorrer das suas funções.
Por conseguinte, de forma a atingir estes objetivos, procedi à realização de um estudo de caráter
qualitativo, recorrendo às seguintes técnicas de recolha de dados: a) análise documental
utilizada para a caraterização da empresa; b) observação participante para identificar e
descrever o quotidiano dos gestores, nomeadamente as tarefas e funções desenvolvidas pelos
mesmos; c) entrevista semiestruturada à Gestora responsável pelo Departamento de Formação
do Citeforma para perceber a visão que esta tem acerca do seu papel na empresa e das funções
que desempenha; d) diário de campo utilizado para registar as notas de campo acerca daquilo
que foi sendo observado e vivenciado quotidianamente. No que diz respeito ao tratamento
destes dados, recorreu-se à análise de conteúdo.
Com base no estudo realizado, o relatório documenta a experiência formativa ocorrida numa
empresa com uma modalidade de partilha cultural diferenciadora, devido à estruturação
evidente entre os vários departamentos existentes. Paralelamente, é possível identificar
também a predominância de uma Cultura de Objetivos e Cultura de Atena, na medida em que
o trabalho desenvolvido é voltado para a obtenção de resultados, provenientes de objetivos
previamente delimitados. Por último, através do projeto de investigação, foi possível identificar
e descrever os vários papéis desempenhados pelos gestores da empresa. Assim sendo, tendo
por base o trabalho quotidiano desenvolvido pelos gestores, é possível aferir que os mesmos
concentram um maior desempenho nos papéis interpessoais e informacionais, refletindo a
importância conferida ao trabalho em equipa e regular planeamento e organização.
The internship report “The manager's roles and organizational culture in a professional training company”, addresses the issue of the manager's work taking into account the existing organizational culture. In this way, I will start by describing, analysing and understanding the organizational culture of Citeforma and, later, characterizing the roles of the managers involved in the research based on their daily work. With regard to its objectives, these are related to: (a) characterization of the organization and the existing organizational culture; (b) characterization of the managers' daily lives and the tasks they perform; (c) identification of the roles played by managers in the course of their functions; (d) understand the manager's perception of her work in the organization. Therefore, in order to achieve these objectives, I carried out a qualitative study: a) document analysis used to characterize the company; b) participant observation to identify and describe the daily life of managers, namely the tasks and functions performed by them; c) semistructured interview with the Citeforma manager to understand her view of her role in the company and the functions she performs; d) field diary used to record field notes about what was observed and experienced on a daily basis. With regard to the treatment of these data, content analysis was used. Based on the study carried out, the report documents the training experience that took place in a company with a differentiating cultural sharing modality, due to the evident structuring between the various existing departments. At the same time, it is also possible to identify the predominance of a Culture of Objectives and Culture of Athena, insofar as the work developed is aimed at obtaining results from previously defined objectives. Finally, through the research project, it was possible to identify and describe the various roles played by the company's managers. Therefore, based on the daily work carried out by managers, it is possible that they focus on interpersonal and greater informational performance, reflecting on conferring their organization as a team and regular functions and work.
