sucesso.
This report has, as his main goal, the presentation of the project fulfilled within the Practice of Supervised Teaching, entitled “Symbiosis between photography and animation: the two-dimensional stop motion as a teaching object”, within the master’s degree on Teaching Visual Arts. The Didactic Unit where the project was implemented, is part of the Agrupamento de Escolas Leal da Câmara, in Sintra, more precisely in Rio de Mouro. The class that framed the project data belonged to the first year of Highschool, in the Professional Course of Multimedia Technician, with Digital Image being the main subject, where the directives focus in developing the technological components of the artistic and digital work, promoting in simultaneous a set of tools for the development of work content at the digital level. The main purpose of the work is to explore the different digital components tied to the Bitmap Image which, in turn, subdivides itself in editing, photography and animation. As a way of framing the essential learnings, the project mainly focused on the exploration of the techniques of animation that encompassed photography (The implementation of stop motion and exploration of the graphic quality of the image, through the manipulation of tools from the camera), and that, at the same time, could explore and give to the students the concepts and tools to work in the digital world (editing and image montage, exploration of animation in stop motion and 2D through the work arounds of the Krita program). The project theme aligned with the school themes that coincided with the celebration of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, which promoted an authorial search and artistic recreation of the art pieces, on a digital perspective, introduced in Animation. As a way to ensure the didactic unite, the project resorted to a different set of theoretical fundamentals that justified the proposal at a pedagogical level: at an animation level, as a deepening of the technical theories and animation processes, by Richard Williams; at a teaching level, the significant learning allied with the basis of cooperative learning, placing the student in an active spot in his own learning and making the professor to assume a more mediator role in the process, in addition to a summative and formative evaluation, underlining how the two, in symbiosis can relate, creating an evaluation method that is efficient in his intervention and in the development of the subjects learnt. The obtained results met the decided goals in the planification of the pedagogical project, through the implementation pedagogical strategies that consisted in a trade between constant feedback, the creation of a more direct goals, a use of the evaluation of the subjects learnt, trials through try and error and learning through discovery, with emphasis on the teacher-student relationship, directing the student to greater success.
