Abstract

Procede-se a uma visão de conjunto sobre a exploração e consumo de recursos marino-estuarinos dos alvores do Holocénico à afirmação das sociedades produtoras de alimentos no litoral centro-sul de Portugal, sublinhando a organização social e territorial dos grupos humanos que mais persistentemente mantiveram estreita relação com paisagens oceânicas.

An overall approach is made on the exploitation and consumption of marine-estuarine resources from the early Holocene to the establishment of a farming lifestyle at the Southern-center of the Portuguese coast, underlining the social and territorial organization of the human groups that most persistently maintained a close relationship with the seascape.
