Abstract(s)
O desenvolvimento tecnológico produzido pela 4ª Revolução Industrial e pelo chamado Trabalho 4.0 está a mudar consideravelmente as relações de trabalho e emprego. Esta investigação aborda as transformações decorrentes desta transição, cujos reflexos escancaram a vulnerabilidade do trabalhador face ao desemprego e à precarização do trabalho, demonstrando a importância da atuação da comunidade internacional, particularmente das Organizações Internacionais Intergovernamentais que visam a garantia dos direitos trabalhistas. A Organização Internacional do Trabalho, criada com objetivo de promover a justiça social, incorreu em transformações e adaptações ao longo de seus 101 anos de existência e revela-se atualmente como um dos principais instrumentos de Direito Internacional por meio dos quais será possível a conciliação do desenvolvimento económico e tecnológico com a garantia dos direitos trabalhistas enquanto direitos humanos.
The new technologies of the 4th industrial revolution and the labor 4.0 is rapidly changing labor relations and employment conditions. This study presents the effects of this transition to individual vulnerability to unemployment and labor conditions, and focuses on the importance of International Organizations to fight labor precarization. The International Labor Organization, created to promote social justice in labor relations, has changed and adapted over its 101 years of existence and is one of the main instruments of International Law to harmonize technological development with labor and human rights.
