This article aims to analyze two art exhibitions presented in Brazil, which had the body as main curatorial theme: “The artists experience as a parameter,” showed at the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), in São Paulo, 1997, and “The body in Brazilian Contemporary Art,” hosted in Itaú Cultural, in São Paulo, 2005. Making a reflection about these exhibitions, we claim to problematize the presentations and representations of the body in different curatorial proposals
