Esta dissertação trata do sofrimento, da dor e do luto que os trágicos acontecimentos de 22 de Março de 2007 ocorridos na Cidade de Maputo, capital Moçambicana, causaram a população de um bairro periférico desta cidade, onde a explosão de um paiol militar provocou a morte a mais de uma centena e meia de pessoas e mais de meio milhar de feridos, entre graves e ligeiros. Procura-se a partir deste acontecimento estudar a questão da morte incidindo sobre as vivências do luto, da dor e do sofrimento das pessoas que aqui perderam os seus parentes de forma violenta. Nela se aborda os mecanismos de reconstrução e reintegração na normalidade após estes acontecimentos
This dissertation deals with suffering, pain and grief that the tragic events of March 22, 2007 occurred in Maputo, Mozambican capital, caused the population of a suburb of this city, where the explosion of a military depot has killed more than one hundred and fifty people and more than half a thousand wounded, serious and slightly. From this tragic event, the study seeks to explore the issue of death focusing on the experiences of grief, pain and suffering of people that have lost their relatives in a violent manner. It also looks at mechanisms of reconstruction and reintegration into normal after these events.
