O presente relatório surge enquadrado no Ramo de Aprofundamento de Competências Profissionais do Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora. Este relatório inicia-se com uma síntese das alterações decorrentes do envelhecimento típico e patológico, e a forma como a Gerontopsicomotricidade e o Psicomotricista se organizam de forma a dar uma resposta terapêutica eficaz. Seguidamente, é apresentada a implementação da intervenção psicomotora na instituição de estágio – Casa de Saúde de Santa Rosa de Lima -, sendo descrita e analisada em detalhe uma das intervenções grupais realizadas em âmbito psicogeriátrico. Para além disto serão retratados outros acompanhamentos e atividades, inclusive projetos de investigação relacionados com a horticultura e com a formação dos cuidadores, podendo perceber-se a importância do perfil multifacetado do Psicomotricista num contexto institucional. Por fim, em tom reflexivo, retratam-se os principais pensamentos, aprendizagens, limitações à prática e necessidades de desenvolvimento persistentes.
This report is outlined within the Professional Skills Development Branch of the Master's Degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation. It begins with a summary of the changes resulting from typical and pathological aging, and the way in which Gerontopsychomotricity and the Psychomotor Therapist organize in order to provide an effective therapeutic response. Next, the implementation of psychomotor intervention at the internship institution - Casa de Saúde de Santa Rosa de Lima - is presented, as well as a detailed description and analysis of one of the intervention groups formed in this psychogeriatric context. In addition to this, other interventions and activities are portrayed, including research projects related to horticulture and the training of caregivers, making it possible to perceive the importance of the multifaceted profile of the Psychomotor Therapist in an institutional context. Finally, the main thoughts, learnings, and limitations to the practice and persistent development needs are portrayed.
