O trabalho insere-se na Quinta do Borralho, que por sua vez se localiza na Ponte do Rol, no municĆpio de Torres Vedras. Esta encontra-se num considerĆ”vel estado de degradaĆ§Ć£o, apĆ³s sofrer vĆ”rios anos de inadvertĆŖncia.
Surge assim o interesse da realizaĆ§Ć£o de um trabalho de reabilitaĆ§Ć£o, que possa trazer as memĆ³rias antigas da Quinta, e que abre portas para novas funcionalidades e programas.
Ao longo da sua histĆ³ria, a Quinta do Borralho esteve sempre associada Ć produĆ§Ć£o agrĆcola, assim com a freguesia da Ponte do Rol, propondo-se a por isso a criaĆ§Ć£o de um novo equipamento, ligado Ć produĆ§Ć£o vinĆcola, que trarĆ” de volta o espĆrito produtor do lugar. Agregado a isto, surge ainda o interesse de criar espaƧos de restauraĆ§Ć£o e alojamento nas zonas antigas da Quinta, que permitem aos seus visitantes criar uma conexĆ£o com cultura vinĆcola, a Quinta do Borralho, e ainda com a natureza e o espaƧo rural envolvente.
