The coach is the fundamental piece of every team, as he is the one who must unite all the pieces of the puzzle (players), so that together they can achieve the goals proposed by the club. Therefore, the coach and his technical staff must plan the sports season (precompetitive, competitive and post-competitive) so that everything goes as expected. There are several ways to approach training planning and conduction, one of them being tactical periodization, where everything we do in training tries to be the most representative of the game context. In terms of training, it refers to on-field and off-pitch training. Throughout this report, various topics and areas will be addressed, being divided by a brief introduction to the general context of the internship and a literature review where topics such as tactical periodization and associated subtopics will be developed. Subsequently, in the three areas developed, the themes of the review will be approached in a contextualized way. In area 1, the theme of organization and management of the training process will be addressed, where the planning of the season, conduction of the same and subsequent evaluation is explained. In area 2, related to the innovation project, the subject of the Return to Play protocols and their importance for the safe return to sports practice by the athlete will be developed, without risk of injury or contraction of problems. A protocol will also be proposed to be available at the internship club. Finally, in area 3, an event was held with the community, in the format of a "Round Table", so that topics related to football in general and training by professionals in the area could be addressed and to make known to the academic community of FMH and anyone interested in these topics. This report derives from the experiences had throughout the entire season, influenced by all the experience gained over the years within the context of football.
