The interdisciplinary analysis of sports performance in competition allows to identify the constraints that influence the athlete's behavior, even beyond those that are studied in each scientific discipline in particular. This study aims to analyze the performance of elite female triple jump athletes, regarding the factors that influence their performance and behavior in the main international competitions. In addition to the study of the international standard, it is also intended to study the specific case of the Portuguese athlete Patrícia Mamona, champion of Europe in 2016. Thus, the intention is to identify the main constraints so that they can be applied in the training process with in order to enhance better sporting results. To this end, the finals of the main international competitions were analyzed, namely Liga Diamante (2010 to 2018), Indoor World Championship (1999 to 2018) and Outdoor (1999 to 2019), European Indoor Championship (2011 to 2019) and Outdoor (2010 to 2018) and Olympic Games (2000 to 2016). In a total of 98 competitions, the jumps of 150 athletes were analyzed, in a total of 4924 jumps. The case study of the athlete Patrícia Mamona was composed of 174 jumps, in the same competitions between 2010 to 2019. The results allowed to observe the impact of the variables Distance of the 1st Jump, Distance of the Previous Jump, Pre-Jump Position and Wind in the prediction of the skipped distance. Regarding the prediction of performing a zero jump, the most significant variable was the Distance of the 1st Jump. The analysis performed on the performance of the Portuguese athlete allowed to verify the impact of the variables Distance from Previous Jump and Wind in the distance jumped, however, no variable was predictive of null jumps. The results present important information for athletes and coaches, which can be taken into account in training planning. The differences between the elite female triple jump athletes and the athlete Patrícia Mamona, demonstrate the importance that should be given to the individual characteristics of each athlete.
