O trabalho remoto, teletrabalho ou home office tem vindo a aumentar nos últimos anos devido a diversos fatores como a evolução das tecnologias, melhor relação trabalho-família, vantagens económico-sociais ou até mesmo pelo crescimento da globalização. Atualmente a pandemia COVID-19 foi o maior impulsionador desta forma de trabalho. Nunca outrora foram registados dados de tantos profissionais a trabalhar de casa, no mundo inteiro. Com esta mudança de regime de trabalho, deve-se ter em conta a satisfação dos trabalhadores e o impacto que esta terá na produtividade dos mesmos. Desta forma, o objetivo desta dissertação é, então, perceber o impacto na satisfação e produtividade dos trabalhadores em termos de passagem do trabalho presencial para o trabalho remoto. Para a realização da investigação recorre-se a uma investigação por questionários apoiada por uma revisão de literatura baseada nesta atual forma de trabalho. Assim, o foco é a satisfação e produtividade dos trabalhadores em regime remoto ou misto atualmente, da perspetiva dos mesmos. Com este estudo conseguiu-se concluir que, pela experiência e ponto de vista dos colaboradores, há uma menor satisfação em regime de trabalho remoto comparativamente com o regime presencial mas existe uma maior produtividade em regime remoto e os fatores que estes consideram influenciar mais esses factos são o ambiente do local de trabalho e a flexibilidade de horário. Com isto, os colaboradores consideram que o melhor regime a ser adotado será um regime de trabalho misto.
Remote work, telecommuting or home office has been increasing in recent years due to several factors such as the evolution of technologies, better work-family balance, economic and social advantages or even the growth of globalization. Currently the COVID-19 pandemic has been the biggest driver of this way of working. Never before have there been so many professionals working from home, worldwide. With this change of work regime, one must take into account the satisfaction of the workers and the impact it will have on their productivity. Thus, the objective of this dissertation is to understand the impact on the satisfaction and productivity of workers in terms of the change from face-to-face work to remote work. The research is carried out through questionnaire research supported by a literature review based on this current way of working. Thus, the focus is on the satisfaction and productivity of workers in remote or mixed work today, from their perspective. With this study it was concluded that, from the experience and point of view of employees, there is less satisfaction in remote work regime compared to the face-to-face regime but there is a higher productivity in remote regime and the factors that they consider to influence more these facts are the workplace environment and the flexibility of time. With this, the collaborators consider that the best regime to be adopted will be a mixed work regime.
