In a world increasingly interconnected by the action of technologies, companies are pressed by innovation and competition to keep up with these transformations. In a digital society where information is synonymous of power, there is a need for specialized profiles to integrate companies in the national (and international) scenery. The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector is constantly changing, becoming a daily challenge not only from the point of view of the whole world (as users), but mostly to companies and recruiters. This continuous evolution evidenced gaps in the Portuguese market regarding to qualified professionals in this sector. Thus, HR consultancies such as QiBit play a crucial role helping the employers - in a context where there is a fairly high number of opportunities compared to the number of qualified professionals in the areas and, in addition, not all companies have professionals with sufficient know-how to evaluate candidates given to the profile specificities, which impacts the quality of the recruitment and selection process. The QiBit internship is part of a recruitment and selection process for a client - a reference multinational in the telecommunications sector - looking for to increase its Internet of Things (IoT) area based in Portugal. The client presented special needs for different functions, which resulted in volume recruitment process, making up the total of 15 vacancies. Faced with the opportunity to follow the process end-to-end, this Final Master's Work focus particularly about all the activities developed during this project.
