Abstract(s)
A crescente procura de espaços de natureza sustentável tem vindo a ser um grande tópico de
estudo do século XXI. Por esta razão, o trabalho visa trazer este tema da sustentabilidade para Marvila.
Pretende-se trabalhar a agricultura urbana como estrutura ecológica, como também a
sustentabilidade social e económica. Estes mesmos a ser transportados também para o edificado, na
zona proposta da Matinha.
Pretende-se fazer uma recolha de informação sobre os temas da agricultura urbana, para a
resolução e composição do espaço público e coletivo; como também o tema da habitação
cooperativa que integra espaços de produção e de natureza cooperativa. Será igualmente necessário
fazer uma análise do território às várias escalas de aproximação e uma recolha de casos de estudo,
para que seja possível apresentar uma proposta consolidada para o local.
A proposta da estratégia territorial desenvolver-se-á na zona Oriental de Lisboa, com a
requalificação da linha de caminho de ferro compreendida entre a Estacão de Santa Apolónia e Braço
de Prata, trazendo de volta a sua génese rural e relação com a agricultura. No que toca à proposta
urbana, pretende-se intervir na zona da Matinha, propondo habitação de natureza cooperativa e na
criação de espaços públicos e coletivos ligados à sustentabilidade ambiental e social de forma a
melhorar a qualidade de vida dos habitantes.
The growing demand for spaces with a sustainable nature has become a major topic of study in the 21st century. For this reason, the work aims to bring this theme of sustainability to Marvila. It is intended to work on urban agriculture as an ecological structure, as well as the themes underlying sustainability, such as social and economic sustainability. These same themes will also be carried over to the building, in the Matinha area. For the project to be feasible, there is a need to collect information on the topics of urban agriculture, for the resolution and composition of the public and collective space; as well as the theme of cooperative housing that integrates spaces of production of a cooperative nature. It will also be necessary to carry out an analysis of the territory at the various scales of approximation and carry out a collection of case studies so that it is possible to present a viable proposal for the site. The territorial strategy proposal will be developed in the eastern part of Lisbon, with the requalification of the railway line between Santa Apolónia Station and Braço de Prata, bringing back its rural origins and relationship with agriculture. Regarding the urban proposal, the aim is to intervene in the Matinha area, proposing cooperative housing and the creation of public and collective spaces linked to environmental and social sustainability to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants.
