Os espaços não são neutros, condicionam a vivência das pessoas e afetam de forma diferente o sexo feminino e o masculino. Este trabalho tem como objetivo reconhecer e analisar, desde uma perspectiva de gênero, a vivência espacial das estudantes da Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa. Para isso, buscou-se investigar a experiência pessoal das usuárias do espaço, as estudantes da faculdade, de maneira a compreender os aspectos físicos e simbólicos que ativam ou inibem a sua apropriação e o seu bom aproveitamento pelas estudantes. Utilizou-se dois métodos de investigação: a análise qualitativa, desenhada a partir da combinação de métodos participativos desenvolvidos pelo Col.lectiu Punt 6, que resultou em duas Marchas Exploratórias da Estudantes da FA.ULisboa e um Focus Group com graduadas em contexto laboral. A análise quantitativa consistiu em um questionário online direcionado à toda comunidade estudantil da faculdade, mulheres e homens, com o objetivo de reconhecer diferenças e semelhanças na utilização e percepção dos espaços entre os sexos. Como resultados, observou-se um território fragmentado, deficiente de espaços de convivência e permanência, que falha em aspectos de conforto, sensação de segurança e pertencimento, dificultando a apropriação feminina.
Spaces are not neutral; they condition people's experiences and affect females and males differently. This work aims to recognize and analyze, from a gender perspective, the spatial experience of students at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon. For this, we sought to investigate the personal experience of users of the space, college students, in order to understand the physical and symbolic aspects that activate or inhibit its appropriation and its good use by the students. Two research methods were used: qualitative analysis, designed from the combination of participatory methods developed by Col.lectiu Punt 6, which resulted in two Exploratory Marches by FA.ULisboa students and a Focus Group with graduates in a work context. The quantitative analysis consisted of an online questionnaire directed at the entire student community of the faculty, women and men, with the aim of recognizing differences and similarities in the use and perception of spaces between genders. As a result, a fragmented territory was observed, devoid of spaces for coexistence and permanence, which lacks aspects of comfort, a sense of security and belonging, making female appropriation difficult.
