The project being presented comes within the Master of Education programme in the Education and Digital Technologies speciality and which purpose is to identify training needs in the non-teaching staff at Lisbon's University . The realization of this project was integrated in the professional context of the Training and Evaluation Center of the Department of Human Resources in the Central Services of the University of Lisbon, of which I am a member. To assess the training needs, a questionnaire was distributed to non-teaching employees of ULisbon at the end of 2017. Based on the diagnosis of training needs, a training plan was developed with the purpose of carrying out short-term actions that promote the development of digital literacy skills, particularly in the areas identified as being necessary in the professional practices of non-teaching employees of ULisbon. The results show that non-teaching staff would like to acquire, deepen and update knowledge in the field of digital literacy by developing competences that fit appropriately their professional functions, particularly in the fields of production and information. In this sense, short-term training actions were planned to be carried out in the work context, structured according to the strategy followed within the Digital Adult Literacy (LIDIA) project.
