O presente relatório enquadra-se na modalidade de estágio curricular, realizado ao longo de oito meses, na Quinta Pedagógica Armando Villar e na Quinta da Ponte, para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Ciências da Educação, na área da Formação de Adultos.
A Quinta Pedagógica é um ambiente onde se operacionalizam e implementam processos de ensino-aprendizagem, com intuito pedagógico, direcionados para crianças onde os conhecimentos que adquirem numa perspetiva teórica são colocados em prática no meio rural.
A Quinta Pedagógica Armando Villar, tal como a Quinta da Ponte, centram a sua intervenção em determinados valores, sendo estes, a solidariedade, a democracia, a liberdade e a cidadania, contribuindo assim para o desenvolvimento e valorização integral de todos os intervenientes.
Para o cumprimento das suas finalidades, estas duas entidades, dispõem de uma equipa pedagógica com o intuito de promover ativamente o acesso e envolvimento das crianças, jovens e adultos, em atividades educacionais, recreativas, ambientais, económicas e sociais através da vivência e partilha de experiências práticas inseridas no meio rural.
Durante o estágio, foram desenvolvidas várias atividades, essencialmente, visitas de estudo, visitas à quinta, férias na quinta e workshops que contribuíram para a valorização de conhecimentos individuais de cada interveniente. Todas as atividades foram consideradas como aprendizagens significativas, privilegiando a diferença, a inclusão e a cooperação. Ao longo deste percurso, todas estas atividades proporcionaram-me não só a aquisição de novas competências, nomeadamente na área da gestão e na planificação de projetos, bem como a aplicação de conhecimentos e competências adquiridas ao longo da formação em Ciências da Educação. A realização do estágio curricular permitiu-me desenvolver atividades integradas num projeto de Educação Ambiental em que todas as faixas etárias puderam participar, tendo como base o respeito pelo outro e pela natureza, nunca esquecendo alguns dos princípios pedagógicos, como, igualdade, respeito, desenvolvimento pessoal, animação, autonomia, participação e educação cultural.
This report is part of the curricular internship, performed during eight months, at the Quinta Pedagógica Armando Villar and the Quinta da Ponte, for the attainment of a Master’s Degree in Science of Education, in the field of adult education. The Educational Farm is a place which provides and implements teaching-learning processes, with educational purposes, targeted for children, where the knowledge they acquired in a theorical way are put into practice in rural environment. The Quinta Pedagógica Armando Villar, as well as the Quinta da Ponte, focus their intervention on certain values, being these the sympathy, the democracy, the freedom and the citizenship, contributing this way for the full development and valuation of all the parties involved. For the fulfilment of their purposes, these two entities have an educational team, with the intention of actively promoting the access and the engagement of the children, young people and adults in educational, recreational, environmental, economic and social activities through living and sharing practical experiences inserted in the rural environment. Throughout the internship, have been developed several activities, mainly study visits, visits to the farm, vacations on the farm and workshops, that have contributed to the valuation of the individual knowledge of each party involved. All the activities were considered to be significant learning, spreading the difference, the inclusion and the cooperation. During this journey, all these activities provided me not only the acquisition of new skills, notably in the area of project’s management and planning, but also the application of knowledge and skills acquired during the training in Science of Education. The performance of this internship has enabled me to develop activities merged in a project of Environmental Education on which all age groups were allowed to participate, based on the respect for others and the nature, and not forgetting some of the pedagogical principles, as equality, respect, personal development, entertainment, self-sufficiency, involvement and cultural education.
