O presente estudo relata a atividade recente do Grupo de Trabalho das Bibliotecas de Ensino Superior da Associação Portuguesa de Bibliotecários, Arquivistas e Documentalistas. Foca-se particularmente na reflexão e debate sobre a produção das Recomendações para as Bibliotecas de Ensino Superior, que aqui se publicam. Procura-se assim cumprir os objetivos estratégicos de gerar conhecimento, partilhar experiências, promover a transferência de saberes e potenciar a criação de políticas para a área de informação e documentação.
This study reports the recent activity of the Higher Education Libraries Work Group, a group of the Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists and Documentation Professionals. It focuses particularly on the reflection and debate about the production of the Guidelines for Higher Education Libraries that are published here. It aims to reach out to the strategic objectives on generating knowledge, sharing experiences, promoting the transfer of knowledge and fostering the creation of policies in the field of information and documentation.
