Abstract(s)
A arte traz benefícios para o desenvolvimento de um ser humano inteligente e sensível. Nesta investigação trazem-se à discussão algumas das definições de arte, abordando os seus benefícios enquanto elemento de estudo e o desenvolvimento que tem ocorrido na área de Design no Ensino Superior. A questão fundamental abordada passa pela integração entre a arte, as tecnologias da informação e comunicação e o desenvolvimento do profissional de design. Os resultados indicaram que no que concerne a integração das TIC, esta deve ser feita de forma que traga benefícios para os estudos das artes, sendo a sua metodologia trabalhada de forma pragmática pelos docentes da instituição. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida através do método qualitativo, tendo sido realizadas entrevistas à coordenadora do curso de design gráfico da instituição de ensino Universidade Estácio e mais quatro professores da área tecnológica, teórica e prática do curso. O resultado encontrado salienta uma distância entre a realidade do mercado e o desenvolvimento do aluno, principalmente por conta da falta de investimento em estrutura tecnológica de ponta para as salas de aula, prejudicando o ensino, o rendimento e o desenvolvimento deste.
Art brings benefits to the development of an intelligent and sensitive human being. In this research, we bring to the discussion some of the definitions of art, addressing its benefits as an element of study and the development that has occurred in the area of Design in Higher Education. The key issue addressed is the integration of art, information and communication technologies and the development of the design professional. The results indicated that in the integration of ICT, this should be done in a way that brings benefits to the arts studies, and its methodology worked pragmatically by the institution's teachers. The research was developed through the qualitative method, and interviews were conducted with the coordinator of the graphic design course at the Estácio University teaching institution and another 4 (four) professors from the technological, theoretical and practical area of the course. The result found emphasizes a distance between the reality of the market and the development of the student, mainly due to the lack of investment in the state-of-the-art technological structure for the classrooms, damaging the teaching, the income and the development of this one.
