Resumo(s)
The present report arises in the context of the subject Introduction to the Professional Practice IV, of the last semester in Visual Art Teaching Master. It serves as a reflective document of the supervised teaching practice at Paula Vincent School with a Visual Education class - Year 8, during a period of seven months. The project developed in partnership with the National Museum of Ethnology is focused on the subject of Portraiture, having as a starting point the class students own individual identity and subsequently the collective identity portrait of the traditional Portuguese culture presented in the exhibition "Inventory Exercise – Regarding the donation of two Portuguese pottery collections". It has been established as the main aim the students approach to the artistic heritage, through the involvement with the artisans and artists work process. In the first section the theories that are central to the pedagogical practice developed are presented followed by a detailed description of all the teaching experience moments, from the project design to the description classes taught
