| dc.description.abstract | Para fazer Arquitetura, nomeadamente Habitação, é necessário ter em conta todas as desigualdades do ser humano. Só travestindo-se do outro se consegue chegar ao espaço perfeito para aquele específico morador. Este conceito de individualidade e exclusividade transpõe-se para o Projeto Final de Mestrado através de Habitação Social no centro de São Paulo, Brasil - uma cidade onde todos os dias se cruzam milhares de pessoas de proveniências completamente diferentes. O desafio passa por arranjar forma de as acomodar num mesmo sítio sem que para isso se firam susceptibilidades, onde a herança cultural se preserve e onde a vivência de cada um possa enriquecer o outro; preservar o espaço privado individual mas tornar versátil o espaço público e coletivo. Pretende-se projetar um edifício plural em que se cruzem várias condições sociais criando-se tipos de apartamentos díspares entre si, tendo sempre em conta a importância da diferença e da exclusividade de cada um, questionar a diversidade que um espaço pode ter, dependendo da pessoa que o vai habitar. O objetivo é contrariar a ideia de que habitação para a camada populacional pobre tem que ser obrigatoriamente repetitiva e padronizada. Não só devemos contrariá-la como desprezá-la, arranjar soluções – e há muitas – para mudá-la. Perceber que apesar de pobre, qualquer indivíduo é humano e, nesse sentido, possuidor de uma personalidade própria. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: Attending the Architecture degree, namely Housing Design, one needs to keep in his mind the inequalities of the human being. One needs to dress the other’s shoes to understand and create the perfect space to each inhabitant. This concept of individuality and exclusiveness is changed to the final project of the Master degree throughout the social dwelling in the heart of São Paulo, Brazil – a city where thousands and thousands of people meet everyday and make vivid the notion of multiculturalism. The challenge is to find a way to accommodate them in the same place without causing psychological and social damages; on one hand, the individual private space must be preserved and on the other hand, one has to make flexible the public space shared by the community. One intends to plan a plural building putting together diverse social conditions and conceiving different apartments, highlighting the importance of the notion of difference and exclusiveness, questioning the diversity of the space which depends on its inhabitant. The main aim is to contradict the stereotype that the lower social classes are attached to the same pattern of housing which becomes repetitive. We should not only avoid it but also to despise it, trying to find suitable solutions, and there are plenty of them, to change this pattern. We have to keep in our minds that no matters his economical condition, everyone is a human being, and as a consequence keeps a unique personality with his own anxieties and characteristics. | |
