Economicamente, a “recessão covid-19” é a primeira a ter sido desencadeada simplesmente por uma pandemia nos últimos 150 anos e as projeções atuais sugerem que a presente recessão global será a mais profunda desde o final do segundo conflito mundial, de tal modo que há quem diga que ela pode bem ser o último prego no caixão da globalização. Mas não serão as “notícias sobre a sua morte manifestamente exageradas”?
Economically, the “covid-19 recession” is the first to have been triggered simply by a pandemic in the last 150 years and current projections suggest that the current global recession will be the deepest since the end of the second world conflict, in such a way that some say that it may well be the last nail in the coffin of globalization. But aren’t the “news about his death manifestly exaggerated”?
